Let us introduce ourselves. We’re two sisters from the smallest state in the country (hi, Rhode Island!) who love BIG sparkle, have a major obsession with astrology, and a serious dedication to making the most comfortable earrings in the world.

Meet Kristen

My sister, Kristen, is the logistics guru — and she’s also the original designer of our custom, lightweight, low-profile sterling silver earring settings. She keeps everything flowing on the backend and is always using her creative brain to dream up what’s next.

Meet Missy

I’m Missy, and I run our sales channels. I love people, I love asking questions, and as a Virgo, I need to know the “why” and the “how.” I’ve always loved to work… but only if it’s fun — so our days at JoJo are mixed with passion, silliness, and a whole lot of laughs.

20 Years of Sparkle (and it all started with a stud)

This past September, we celebrated 20 years as a brand — and it all started with a simple desire:

To make a stud earring that sparkled like no other.

Because women love accessories — especially earrings. They’re the perfect finishing touch. They work with every outfit. And they do something special: earrings draw the eye up to your face, complimenting your bone structure, hairstyle, and makeup look.

But for decades, women with sensitive ears have had trouble finding earrings they can truly wear all day long, day after day, comfortably.

We knew there had to be a better solution.

Sensitive Ears + “Lobeage” (yes, we said lobeage)

And then there’s lobe size…or as we like to call it at JoJo: LOBEAGE.

Over the last two decades, we’ve learned there are a lot of factors when it comes to lobeage:

If your lobes are larger (or you have damage from heavy earrings)

Some women have larger lobes, or stretched/damaged piercings from years of heavy earrings — and they want studs that offer great coverage and sit properly.

If your lobes are tiny

The opposite problem is real too: some studs are too large or too heavy and will tip forward, never sitting quite right.

So we built what didn’t exist: a combination of comfort + sparkle + size options + color options, all at a price that made sense.

There was demand for it…and it didn’t all co-exist until JoJo Loves You® entered the industry and began building its earring empire.

Every story has a beginning… ours began with one pack of crystals

Our story began in 2003 with a single pack of vintage Austrian crystals.

And from there, the magic happened.

The combination of a sterling silver setting and faceted Austrian crystal sparked the American-made jewelry brand known as JoJo Loves You®.

From Boston to Providence… and everything in between

From Boston to Providence (with six moves), a change in ownership, two decades in business, 150+ colors, thousands of Bling Addicts, and endless passion…
